Who Are We?
Formerly Arundel and District Branch of the Embroiderers Guild, we are now an independent stitch group, newly formed, in April 2021. We are a creative and friendly group of stitchers with a programme of speakers, innovative workshops and in-house stitching projects. Our meetings are usually on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month, though we try to be flexible to attract good speakers. We meet in Arundel Museum for our main meeting on the 4th Monday of the month, and at The Swan Pub on the High Street Arundel for our less formal sit and sew sessions on the 2nd Monday. We are always delighted to welcome visitors and new members. For more information please see our Info for New Members page.
Our members have a range of interests, from traditional to contemporary and our meetings are for ‘fun, friendship and fellowship’ with the opportunity to learn from each other. In addition, members can take part in exhibitions, the July Garden Party and our December Xmas tea party. Please see our Programme for 2021.
We are delighted to be holding our meetings in person once again. Please see our Programme for details of dates and venues.
